We start the day with a visit to the iconic Tokyo Tower. This 333m high tower was once the tallest in the city. It is also right in the centre of the city so the views are incredible. Here we will give you an orientation of the area and will brief you on we have in store for time we have with you.
You will be working up an appetite by now and you are lucky as you are now in the city with some of the best dining in the world. No city has more Michelin starred restaurants in the world. Let us use all the connections we have to arrange an unforgettable meal for you and yours.
Next up is the City Lights tour of the Shinjuku and Kabukicho. This is the area made famous by the movie "Lost in Translation" and it's an incredible place filled with people of all walks in life. Get some iconic photos strolling around in the glow of the neon lights. Feeling energetic? We can also make our way to the "Golden Gai" district which is a famous place filled with tiny pubs and karaoke bars. Where better to try your singing skills than in the birthplace of karaoke. Other nightlife options for adults only include hostess clubs, lounge bars and night clubs. Or just enjoy a quiet drink at the iconic New York bar at the nearby Park Hyatt hotel made famous in the "Lost in Translation" movie.

A range of vehicles will be available to choose from and all options are fully guided.
TOkyo Fish MArket
Speaking of oysters, we could start with a visit to the famous Tokyo Fish Market. Here you can see how the freshest fish in the world is bought and sold. Nearly every piece of fresh sushi eaten in Japan passed through this market before it made it to your table. Marvel in the incredible feat of logistics and organization or just enjoy the freshest fish in the town for your breakfast! (2hrs)
Asakusa Temple District
The Asakusa district is home to the most famous temple in Tokyo. Take a rickshaw ride through the streets and get a feel of what it was like to live in this city hundreds of years ago. Your guide can give you insights into the role of Shinto and Buddhist faiths in the daily life of Japan. We can also see how the locals live their daily life. This is a real local neighbourhood where you can see not just tourist sites but also how local Tokyoites go about their daily life. (1.5-2.5hrs)
SUMO TOWN
Take a trip to the Ryogoku Sumo Town. We can arrange for you to make a visit to a real Sumo stable where we can see these iconic symbols of Japan battle it out in the ring during their morning practice. *currently unavailable due to COVID measures (1-2hrs)
AKIHABARA ELECTRIC TOWN
Akihabara Electric Town is the mecca of all things anime and electronics. Wander the street and be taken back by the pure scale of everything. You can find all kinds of goods here. It is also the birthplace of the "Maid Cafe" a place where you can enjoy coffee and cakes served by a role play maid. Not everyone's cup of tea but an experience none the less. ( 1-2hrs)
GINZA, PURE LUXURY
Ginza is a luxury shopping paradise. This district is home to the flagship stores of all the major brands in Japan such as Sony and Uniqlo but it also houses the major brands from all around the world. Louie Vuitton, Gucci, Prada, as well as countless other brand names big and small. Here we can also stop for a refreshment at the oldest beer hall in Japan, the Ginza Lion. Perfect for those who want a break while their other half goes shopping. (2-3hr)
STREETS OF SHIBUYA AND HARAJUKU
Explore the Shibuya and Harajuku districts. For a younger and more trendy fashion style mixed with high class boutiques this is the place to be in Tokyo. Here is the real heartbeat of everything up and coming in the Tokyo street fashion scene. Wander the streets and take it all in. And no trip to Japan is complete without a stop at the iconic Shibuya scramble. We can arrange a professional photographer to help you get those photos to treasure for days to come. This is best done in late afternoon or early evening to get the best lighting for photos. (2.5-3.5hrs)
HELICOPTER FLIGHT OVER TOKYO
See Tokyo from the sky! Take a helicopter ride over the city where you can get a real feel of how big this city really is! We can choose from several courses both in the day or the night but we highly recommend the night course to see the city lights from up on high. This can be the perfect way to enjoy the view on your last day in the city. (30min flight, takes roughly 1hr for round trip to heliport)
FINAL DAY in Tokyo
It's your last day in Tokyo. You can choose from the list above to squeeze in one more things before you go, but one thing we would like to save for last is a trip up to the top of the Tokyo Sky Tree. This is one of the tallest structures in the world at 634m tall. What a great place to get one last look at this amazing city. From here we can take you either to the airport for your onwards flight or to the central train station for your trip elsewhere in Japan. If going to Kyoto next, check out our partners at Kyoto VIP Experience. They can roll out the red carpet for your trip to that city and can even arrange for someone to accompany you on the "shinkansen" bullet train ride to the old capital.
